Rules
Short and fair. Cup-specific settings are shown on every cup page. An admin is on call in Discord during every live round.
Entry & registration
- ▸Cups are currently free and played online from home. Live events are planned for the future.
- ▸Register through the Google Form linked on each cup page.
- ▸ Registration opens and closes at the times shown on the cup (EE time).
- ▸One entry per person. Your nickname must be unique in the cup.
Match format
- ▸1v1 (or 2v2 when announced) in the game mode shown on the cup: Kick Off, Ultimate Team, 2v2 or Penalties shootout.
- ▸Format per cup: single or double elimination, round robin, groups + knockout, Swiss, or league phase + playoffs.
- ▸ 6-min halves, best-of, extra time and penalties rules are listed in each cup's match settings.
- ▸PS5, Xbox and PC — cross-play matches only if both players allow it.
Check-in & round times
- ▸ Be ready and check-in in Discord 1h before the cup start.
- ▸Each round has an approximate start time on the cup page; it can move if earlier rounds run late.
- ▸Not ready a few minutes after your opponent pings? An admin may award a forfeit.
Hosting
- ▸Anybody can send the game invite and host the game.
- ▸Opponent EA ID and Discord are shown in the match details on the cup page, if shared.
Pauses & disconnects
- ▸Pause only for genuine technical issues.
- ▸Disconnect in the first ~10 in-game minutes: restart from 0-0.
- ▸Later disconnects: the result stands or an admin decides.
Results & rankings
- ▸Post a screenshot of the final score in Discord; an admin enters it on the site.
- ▸Prize finals may also require a short clip.
- ▸Ranking points depend on final place, field size and the cup multiplier, with participation points for playing. Points are added when the cup is finalised. How points work
- ▸The ranking uses a rolling period (by default the last 12 months): results older than the period expire automatically. Titles, podiums and best finish stay all-time.
- ▸Admin decisions are final.
Code of conduct
- ▸Respect opponents and admins. Keep it friendly.
- ▸No smurfing, boosting, or account sharing.
- ▸No abusive chat, spam, trolling, politics or religion.
- ▸Breaking rules can lead to mute, disqualification or ban.
Discord is the stadium
Check-in, match rooms, results and admin support - one place, no chaos. An admin is on call during every live round to support your game experience.
Fees never exceed EA's community limit ($20 per participant) and total yearly prizes stay under $10,000. This series is independently run and not affiliated with or endorsed by EA.
